The details for the Illuminations and Venetian Nights for 2009 are set out below. The red asterisks indicate the dates for the firework displays. The event is promoted by Derbyshire Dales District Council - please read statement near foot of page.

  -  Cromford Meadows to Matlock Bath Pavilion.

MATLOCK BATH ILLUMINATIONS AND VENETIAN NIGHTS 2008

Lights switched-on from Saturday 5 September, 2009 at 7pm and then every night until Saturday 31 October.

The parade of Illuminated and decorated boats takes place at 8.00pm every Saturday and Sunday during the season – with a programme of family entertainment at or near the bandstand in Derwent Gardens each evening, commencing at 7.00pm.

The Admission Prices to Derwent Gardens are £4.00 Adults (Aged 16 and over), £3.50 Over 60s, Accompanied children under 16 free, Disabled persons free.

CLIFFTOP FIREWORK DISPLAYS

Clifftop firework displays 9pm Saturdays 3, 17 and 31 October.

All scheduled to start at 9pm

PARK AND RIDE

Park and Ride from Cromford Meadows and Matlock County Offices on 3/10, 17/10, 31/10.

Services operate from 6pm on the above dates.  See main column for full details.
